原発性脳腫瘍がある成人患者における倦怠感の管理に対する介入 要点 原発性脳腫瘍と高度の倦怠感がある患者の管理に有効な治療法があるかどうかは、参加者数が少ない3件の研究しか見つからなかったため、分からない。 原発性脳腫瘍とは？ 原発性脳腫瘍は、体の他の部分から広がったのではなく、脳で発生した癌である。脳腫瘍は、高悪性度と低悪性度に分類され、高悪性度腫瘍は異型度の高い細胞で構成され、急速に増殖するのに対し、低悪性度腫瘍は異型な細胞で構成され、ゆっくりと増殖する。原発性脳腫瘍の患者には、倦怠感(疲労感)がよくみられる。これは、腫瘍やその治療、あるいは抗てんかん薬（発作の治療に用いられる）など、他の医薬品の使用が原因である可能性がある。また、睡眠障害、思考障害、精神的苦痛など他の症状を伴うこともある。 知りたかったこと 倦怠感を管理するための治療が、その人の生活の質(QOL)、癌治療に耐える能力（それ自体が疲労と関連している）、社会生活や日常生活を営む能力を改善するかどうかを検討した。 本レビューで実施したこと 2022年4月、4件の医学データベースを検索した。その結果、対象となる臨床試験が3件見つかった。この3件の試験は、原発性脳腫瘍で高度の倦怠感を有する成人患者を対象に、3種類の医薬品（モダフィニル、アルモダフィニル、デキサムフェタミン硫酸塩）の使用を調査した。これらの薬は、覚醒を促...
