1) We will provide face-to-face training and support for
authors based in Japan to increase the number of Cochrane
protocols and reviews. We, as hosted by one of the national
centres designated by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare
of Japan, collaborate with all the other national centres, as
well as professional societies, will provide regular cochrane
introductory, protocol, and review workshops at least once for
each per year in Tokyo and one in other cities. We also will
provide hands-on training both in-facility and by remotely for
potential contributors.

2) We will also intend to offer training and support for editors,
trainers and other contributors in methodologies and areas
related to Cochrane’s mission such as non-cochrane
systematic reviews, advanced meta-analyses techniques,
qualitative studies and cost effectiveness analyses.
